Studentská pečeť Bublinky – airy bubbly Czech chocolate

Studentská pečeť Bublinky – the airy chocolate with the famous seal 🍫

Everyone knows the sound. You snap a bar of Studentská pečeť and the peanuts and raisins crack under the chocolate – the sound of Czech school breaks, train journeys and glove compartments since forever. It is the chocolate nobody has to explain.

Which is exactly why the newest member of the family is fun: it makes almost no sound at all. Studentská pečeť Bublinky is airy, bubbly chocolate – the same famous seal on the wrapper, a completely different feeling on the tongue.

Wait – we have met before ✨

If bubbly chocolate rings a bell, your memory is working perfectly. Back in 2007, Orion had an aerated chocolate on Czech shelves under the name Aero – and anyone who watched Czech television that year can still finish the line from the advert: „Miluju bublinky.“ I love bubbles.

And then, like so many beloved things, it quietly disappeared from the shelves. People kept asking about it long after it was gone – which is the best possible sign that a product meant something.

So this is not really a new idea. It is a returning one, almost twenty years later, this time wearing the Studentská pečeť seal.

What are Bublinky? 🥤

Aerated chocolate, 90 g, full of tiny bubbles that collapse the moment they touch your tongue instead of melting slowly like a solid bar. The texture is the whole point – lighter, softer, and somehow impossible to eat just one square of. There are two versions:

The family behind the seal 🍫

Studentská pečeť has quietly grown into one of the widest chocolate families in Czechia. The originals are still the backbone – Milk, Dark and White, all with the familiar peanuts, raisins and jellies.

Then there are the fruit ones for people who like a sharper contrast: Raspberry, Pear and Sour Cherry. And the limited editions that keep appearing and disappearing – Pistachio, Hazelnut & Caramel and Caramel & Crispies. If one of them is your favourite, buy two. That is the only reliable strategy – as the Aero story proves.

Which one should you send abroad? 📦

  • For nostalgia – the classic Milk, no discussion
  • For someone who remembers the advert – Bublinky, and watch their face
  • For kids – JOJO, with the jellies they already love
  • For the coffee drawer at work – the Studentská wafer, which survives a bag better than a bar

Chocolate travels well, keeps its shape in a parcel and needs no explanation on the other side of the world. That is probably why Studentská pečeť ends up in so many of the boxes we send out.

Wherever you are, we’re happy to bring a little taste of Czech home to your table.
